POOL VILLAS
Surrounded by lush forest and views of the beach through tropical foliage. The luxury resort's 133-square metre pool villas overlook Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort and Spa’s lush vegetation, and feature their own private pool, terrace and open-air shower. Each of the 15 pool villas comes with its own luxurious oval bathtub where guests can soak in full view of the ocean. There is also a spacious dressing area with His and Hers vanity counters for guests.

BEACH VILLA
A luxurious Beach Villa offers splendid isolation on a white sandy beach. Set over two separate pavilions, it is like living in your own personal space - on one side there is a living pavilion, on the other the bedroom pavilion. Entry is via a thatched-roof entry-gate through a landscaped courtyard leading to the rustic timber door of the villa’s entrance. Every Beach Villa features both an indoor and outdoor shower and a private terrace that leads to the beach.
These spacious, 189-square metre stand-alone villas have been built along the fine white sandy beach of Villingili island. Each of the 29 Beach Villas at Shangri-La's Villingili Resort and Spa is ideal for families or couples. Located in a beautiful setting, amidst an expertly landscaped garden, it has its own infinity pool. DELUXE VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL

TWIN BEACH VILLA
These luxurious and tastefully decorated villas are located beside each other making them ideal for families or travelling companions wanting privacy as well as proximity. At 224 square metres each, the twin beach villas are set on beautiful grounds. The two bedrooms share a large patio and sun deck complete with an infinity pool. Each villa’s ensuite bathroom has an indoor as well as an outdoor shower.

WATER VILLA
Built in the resort's lagoon on stilts and connected to the island by a timber walkway, each Water Villa has an open and airy atmosphere. All 60 delightful Water Villas are luxuriously appointed making full use of the generous 166 square metres of space by having few walls and using glass to allow for unobstructed views.
Guests could shower in the elements, or soak in the spacious bathroom with a huge oval bathtub in the middle. All these spacious Water Villas have a contemporary Asian design that blends traditional and modern elements. The furnishings are in hues of sea blue and turquoise and the furniture is covered in a beautiful

CHI, The Spa, is located at the highest geographical point on the resort- 2.3 metres above sea level. Offering innovative therapies and healthy lifestyle programmes, there is a full-range of spa products and beauty and body treatments based on the ancient Chinese and Himalayan healing traditions, philosophies and rituals.

The resort has a well-equipped gym and fitness centre, tennis courts, a water sports and dive centre with a decompression chamber. GETTING TO THE HOTEL:

Airport Connections
Upon guests' arrival at the International airport, Shangri-La airport staff welcome guests after collection of luggage and escort them to the domestic airport, located within walking distance of the international arrivals hall. Maldivian, the local domestic airline, offers round-the-clock flights from Malé to Gan, the Maldives’ second-largest airport. The airport staff assist guests with check-in procedures at the domestic airport and briefly explain the procedure for their journey to the resort.

After check-in, guests are escorted to a waiting lounge where refreshments are served. Meanwhile, the airport staff assist guests in filling out the registration form that is transmitted to the resort ahead of time for a smoother, faster arrival experience.

The flight from Malé to Gan takes 70 minutes. Upon arrival at Gan, Shangri-La's airport staff warmly welcome the guests after luggage pick-up and escort them to the nearby jetty. The resort is only an eight-minute speedboat ride from Gan. At the resort jetty, guests are greeted and escorted to their Villa.
